Last evening was magic.
Tango Salon World Championship 2010 at Luna Park.
Winners: Sebastian Jimenez & Maria Ines Bogado, made in Sunderland, teachers Carlos & Rosa Perez.
It is difficult to describe the magic, so I won't.
I add a youtube video of them and some photos I took at the gala.
In one of them, I got the moment of announcing their huge success.
The other one gathers all world champions tango salon: from left to right, among other people: Sebastian Achaval, Hiroshi & Kyoko Yamao, Natacha Poberaj & fabian Peralta, Cristina Sousa & Daniel Nacucchio, Damian & Sara, and the new ones, 2010 champions: Sebastian Jimenez & Maria Ines Bogado.
What do they all have in common: CARLOS & ROSA PEREZ, SUNDERLAND.
I congratulated Carlos, who was crying.
What a night!!!!!!!!!
I asked Sebastian, the 2010 world champion:
"Who taught you tango?"
He said "Everybody knows who did, it's Carlitos (Perez) - I owe him everything I know. He's the best"
On my way out, I heard people commenting:" Again Carlos Perez. No one can teach as he does. He really works on his students!"
It's impossible to describe the magic, it's so difficult to be a good teacher, and even more the teacher of all salon world champions.........
Maybe none of us will be a tango world champion ( even though you can never say never), still it's a great comfort to get some classes with best teachers in the world.
